    pictures (and repair progress weblog) of accident in France after very enjoyable Fougeres rally May 2001- hit sideways, spun round and taken down road- no damage to me, headlights or radiator- severe damage to steering (bent and twisted front axle, bent track rod etc), wing, broken engine mount, chassis no longer square but not bent. Revised 25 May 2002 including Madresfield competition success on my inaugural trip and return to Fougeres 22 May

    interesting features: radiator shows water level to avoid removing cap. Suspension was always a selling point from veteran times- chassis stays undistorted when parked tilted on a slope or one wheel 2' higher than the rest enabling doors to still open and shut
