My wife Erica and I enjoy to get out and about on my bike and made the best of the beautiful Swiss mountains while I lived in Bern. Here in Bristol we try to cycle most weekends

My other passions include open-water swimming and long distance walking. With my walking buddy Nic Hemley I have completed a number of the long distance trails in the UK:

The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path ~ 200 miles of immaculate Welsh coastline.

The Coast to Coast - 190 miles, including the crossing of three of England's National Parks from west to east Coast.

The Cumbria Way - 75 miles, crossing Cumbria and the Lake District.

The West Highland Way - 90 miles of Scottish Lochs and mountains.

The Southern Upland Way - 212 miles of deserted Scottish Landscape from west to east coast.

Offas Dyke - 176 miles along a Mediaeval defense between England and Wales

Butcombe beer trail - 47 miles and 6 pubs in the Mendips

Erica and I were married in June 2010 at St Stephen’s Church, Westminster. We attend St Stephen’s Church in Bristol. My faith is an important part of my life and outlook.
