I am a Research Fellow with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the University of Bristol and a core member of the EPSRC-funded SPHERE interdisciplinary research collaboration. My research activities lie in the field of Dependable Embedded Systems and Networks, and more specifically in Networked Embedded Systems as an enabling technology for Digital Health, Smart and Healthy Cities, Industry 4.0, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
I hold a PhD degree in Embedded Systems Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark. I also hold an MSc degree in Computer Science with specialisation in Computer Networks and Digital Communications from the University of Crete, and an undergraduate degree in Informatics and Telecommunications from the University of Athens. I was also associated with the Institute of Computer Science of the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas.
